Quintessentially Foundation and The Crown Estate hosted the fourth annual Fayre of St James charity Christmas concert in aid of children’s charity Rays of Sunshine at the grand St James church in partnership with Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management.. The VIPs and residents of the St James area of central London were treated to performances by BRIT Award winner Tom Odell, Soprano Laura Wright and the London Community Gospel Choir as well as readings from actors Brian Blessed, Matthew Macfayden and Sophie Winkleman. After the hugely successful concert, guests witnessed the exclusive switch on of the Jermyn Street Christmas lights while sipping on Nyetimber wine.
VIP guests including Tom Odell, Brian Blessed, Matthew Macfadyen, Sophie Winkleman, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Laura Wright, The Overtones, Ben & Mary-Clare Elliot, Lord Frederick Windsor, Amber Atherton, Lucy Mecklenburgh, Jules Knight, Matt Johnson, Collabro, Linzi Stoppard, Natalie Coyle, Sarah Jane Mee, Bryony Daniels, Tom Parker, Kimberley Garner, Diego Bivero-Volpe, Charlotte Carroll, Mark Francis Vandelli, Tallia Storm, Emma McQuiston and yours truly were invited to an after party at Mayfair’s Quaglinos where we enjoyed delicious canapes and bespoke cocktails while being serenaded by The Overtones. At £130 per person for a ticket to the Fayre of St James, guests are always assured of a great evening of celebrations filled with the spirit of giving back to charity. Throughout the evening, guests were invited to take part in a silent auction with amazing prizes including, a Maldives Retreat for 4, Afternoon Tea at The Ritz with Stephen Fry and a weekend with a stunning Ferrari California T. The evening raised a total of £210,000, with all proceeds going to Rays of Sunshine.
