Das returned onto the global fashion stage during London fashion week to show their Spring Summer SS12 collection with House of evolution which is a collective of innovative and creative talent. Launched by two Emirati sisters Reem and Hind, Das has once again wowed the fashion crowd by having spectacular gowns and dresses in there SS12 collection. The colour pallette had shades of blues, pinks, whites, grey and silver. The collection mainly consisted of fabulous flowing gowns and chic cocktails dresses. Seen walking the runway was Amber Le Bon who looked absolutely gorgeous in the gowns. Here are my favourite pieces in the Das SS12 collection
Poppy Delevigne attended the LFW reception at Downing Street, hosted by Samantha Cameron and attended by Anna Wintour wearing the red lace dress and mohair cape from the Zoe Jordan AW11 collection (previously known as Irwin and Jordan). the collection is already in store and stocked at Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Start boutique and online at www.irwinandjordan.com
For SS12 James Hillman has gone for swirled seaming and diagonally curved pockets with touches of purples, blues, ivories and pinks to give the impression of an exploding star, basically combining physics and design in an innovative and stricking collaboration. The collection is greatly inspired by science of outer space and black holes in particular. The collection has statement pieces from the t-shirt, fitted tailored jackets, wide legged pleated trouser and dress shirts with the finest detail. This is a collection that exudes style and sophistication.
Storm watches has come up with The Rose Gold collection of beautiful watches that add a touch of elegance to any outfit. With subtle rose gold accents, they are the epitome of understated chic.Available in stores from November also online www.stormwatches.com ……. Perfect xmas gift!
The Maria Grachvogel Spring summer collection SS12 is a feast of colour, print and texture. The silhoutte is free and feminine with an edge. Revealing wraps, sheer fabrics and drapery meant to enhance the female form and create a feeling of modern sensuality. The colour palette is vibrant and fresh with bold shots of raspberry, apple and white. The collection is made up of beautifully cut trousers given a twist this season with the skinny leg pant, flowing dresses and artwork print tote bags. As usual the whole collection was breath taking.
For his SS12 collection, Bora Aksu as created an array of stunning white silk georgette blouses with crushed glass beaded collars, tailored trousers and summer jackets that are perfect for day wear whilst maintainig a stylish and chic look. The cottons and silks allow him to play with the layering of textures. Bora Aksu for the first time shows tights in nude, black and blue with sweeping panel of fishnet down either side that creates an amazing line from thigh to toe.
Paul Costelloe opened London Fashion week Spring Summer 12 with an eclectic combination of influences. Structured tailoring softened with romantic treatment. Linen is the the main fabric of his SS12 collection the tailoring is perfectly structured yet not rigid. He has taken the influences of Edwardian conservatism and mixed it with New Romantic frivolity. The collection runs in soft neutral colours, indigo, crayon brights with bit of black and white.
