House of Evolution for Das

Das returned onto the global fashion stage during London fashion week to show their Spring Summer SS12 collection with House of evolution which is a collective of innovative and creative talent. Launched by two Emirati sisters Reem and Hind, Das has once again wowed the fashion crowd by having spectacular gowns and dresses in there SS12 collection. The colour pallette had shades of blues, pinks, whites, grey and silver. The collection mainly consisted of fabulous flowing gowns and chic cocktails dresses. Seen walking the runway was Amber Le Bon who looked absolutely gorgeous in the gowns.  Here are my favourite pieces in the Das SS12 collection

James Hillman SS12 collection

For SS12 James Hillman has gone for swirled seaming and diagonally curved pockets with touches of purples, blues, ivories and pinks to give the impression of an exploding star, basically combining physics and design in an innovative  and stricking collaboration. The collection is greatly inspired by science of outer space and black holes in particular. The collection has statement pieces from the t-shirt,  fitted tailored jackets, wide legged pleated  trouser and dress shirts with the finest detail. This is a collection that exudes style and sophistication.

Maria Grachvogel SS12 collection

The Maria Grachvogel Spring summer collection SS12 is a feast of  colour, print and texture. The silhoutte is free and feminine with an edge. Revealing wraps, sheer fabrics and drapery meant to enhance the female form and create a feeling of modern sensuality.  The colour palette is vibrant and fresh with bold shots of raspberry, apple and white. The collection is made up of beautifully cut trousers given a twist this season with the skinny leg pant,  flowing dresses and artwork print tote bags. As usual the whole collection was breath taking.
